Long-term memory scoped to the DSH workspace. A session opens with a one-line-per-memory index - bodies are fetched on demand by the `memory` tool, so the same character budget holds about three times as many entries - and when a turn ends a purely local search over the last user message pulls the matching memories into the next briefing at no model cost. Optional auto-capture distils a stretch of conversation into structured memories; in draft mode they wait in an approval queue instead of landing directly. A portrait layer keeps a workspace and a global picture, rewritten from the journal and the records, with the same draft-or-direct choice. Settings → Memory holds the archive, list and timeline views, a health check (duplicate clusters, stale entries, broken links), the supersede version chain with rollback, and a read-only scan that imports existing WorkBuddy / Qoder memory files.

Runs a local OpenAI-compatible gateway so DSH can use the model quota of a logged-in Tencent CodeBuddy (WorkBuddy) account: one-shot installer with SHA256 verification, logon scheduled task with duplicate-launch guard, manage.ps1 for status/start/stop/restart/logs/update/uninstall, and an agent skill that drives setup and troubleshooting.

One-tap connect ModelScope language and image-generation models into DSH (off by default), with image recognition and context window filled in automatically. You can also see the free Magicube balance, jump to a model's info page, and record local call counts, trends and rate-limit events, with a usage pill beside the input box showing the balance and today's local count. All of it needs only an API key, with no account sign-in.

Plays local video and audio inside the conversation. Media files the model writes during a turn - screen recordings, transcodes, voiceovers - get a player under its final reply automatically when their paths appear in its commands, the command output or the reply; the play_video tool plays any other file. Video shows as compact cards with a hover preview, audio as a slim seek bar, streamed over HTTP Range so long files seek instead of loading into memory. Also registers a sidebar media preview renderer, since the built-in previewer treats mp4 as unviewable. The look_video tool lets the model see a video itself: a hidden local Chrome or Edge grabs frames into a time-labelled contact sheet (or big frames at given times, or a short range frame by frame), checks the audio (silence, too quiet, clipping, one channel only) and the picture (black or frozen frames), and reads MP4 / MOV headers for phone compatibility (codec, HDR, faststart and more), with ffmpeg fixes.

Local TXT novel reader in the DSH right sidebar: bookshelf with file, directory and path import, chapter table of contents with jump, click-to-turn or vertical-scroll paging, reading progress restored across restarts, and font, line-spacing, background and night themes.

Local music player: scans a folder for audio and video files, plays them in a Music tab with crossfade, a 10-band EQ and ReplayGain, and can write matched tags, covers and filenames back to the files with atomic replacement.

Everything (voidtools) file-name search: everything_find queries the local Everything index to locate files and folders on any indexed drive in milliseconds, and adds a configuration card to the Plugins page.

A Herta theme for DeepSeek Harness: an ASCII boot opening ported from the upstream Herta project, a violet palette of design tokens, swappable wallpapers (four bundled, plus image URL, local import, solid colour or off) and a "Herta Appearance" page in DSH settings. Doubles as the theme that dsh-herta ships with.

Project-level memory built around a ledger whose structure the AI designs per project; the plugin only handles detection, injection, write-back, archiving and git. Memories are split by meaning: the active ledger holds current state, the turn journal is append-only, and decisions, the goal tree and lessons are one-card-per-file (with a multi-dimension index over the card folders); the fundamental principles file can be changed only by the user. There is a single compaction mode: before compacting, the AI sorts the work into three buckets - what must stay in context and is re-injected verbatim, what is written to the project's _stash/ for later lookup, and what is dropped. When a conversation is opened in a container workspace holding several projects, it can be locked to one sub-project (the lock lives in the plugin's own home and survives restarts; it leaves no marker in your project). Also an activity log with five levels, where L4 stores the user's own words verbatim (never injected, queryable on demand). Before each compaction a verbatim capsule (user quotes, raw errors, changed files) is written to disk, and both the capsule and its source material survive a restart; a handoff document lets a new conversation resume the previous one. 21 tools, 12 subcommands, 39 settings (one of them switches whether the settings panel or each project's manifest wins). Runs locally, no runtime dependencies.

Shows what each completed turn cost in CNY on its own row under the turn, with a click-to-open breakdown naming the tokens per category, the unit rate, the matched price rule and the billing instant; per-model rates are edited on a settings page inside DSH — four token categories plus weekly recurring peak/valley rules with arbitrary multipliers and absolute time-window promo prices that override them. 0.2.3 adds account awareness: it reads the balance or remaining quota of 14 providers (DeepSeek, OpenRouter, Zhipu GLM, Moonshot, MiniMax, Kimi Coding, OpenAI-compatible relays and more) and shows today / this month / this session spend next to it; spend is accumulated in a local ledger (atomic writes, one book per API key, 1-24 month retention, JSON export), and a monthly calendar lets any day be corrected by hand - including days with no balance observation - with an optional note. Usage and rates are computed locally from what the provider reported; balance is read straight from the provider API with your own key, and nothing is sent to a third party.

Multiple provider candidates share one named group with ordered, balanced or random dispatch; upstream failures before any output switch to the next candidate transparently, and rate-limited requests are retried after the provider's backoff. Per-candidate call statistics (attempts, answers, failures, token/TTFT totals) appear as badges in the settings page, and daily aggregates persist to a local file with a 30-day heatmap and trend view. Until you create a key in the UI, the endpoint accepts calls from anyone who can reach it; keys (stored as SHA-256 hashes) then turn authentication on, and the endpoint stays locked even after the last key is revoked. Exposing the optional LAN listener without a key leaves the port open to the whole network. Runs on DSH 0.1.2-rc.1 through 0.1.7-alpha.1 and later.
