Focus-aware notifications for DeepSeek Harness: approvals, questions, plan reviews and finished replies appear as one alert only when the conversation window loses focus; background conversations alert at any time and subagent sessions never do.

Two small macOS features in one plugin. keepAwake stops the display and system from sleeping while dsh runs (caffeinate tied to the host process). taskNotify posts a system notification when a top-level conversation finishes its turn, with the outcome (completed, error, blocked, output cap) and the duration; clicking the notification brings DeepSeek Harness forward. Web search over Bing and Baidu with no account or API key, plus Google and Brave when API keys are set and DuckDuckGo, Sogou, 360 and Yandex when enabled in config; automatic engine fallback and an aggregate mode. Also image search, WeChat Official Account article search, and fetch_page, which returns web pages and PDFs as Markdown in segments.

Localizes the prompts DeepSeek Harness sends to the model — system prompt sections, runtime context, tool descriptions and parameter docs — into Simplified Chinese. Its Cordis API dictionary is derived from zjl1989-li/dsh-harness-zh-cn (MIT), which translates the same prompt layers at runtime; do not enable both at once.

Notes-backed context compression for DeepSeek Harness: replaces LLM-summarized compaction with a model-written persistent notebook plus recoverable raw history, so the rollover boundary itself costs zero model calls.

Requires a Supermemory API key (a free monthly quota is available), and conversation excerpts are uploaded to Supermemory's cloud.

Durable session handoff for DeepSeek Harness: pressure-aware handoff docs, a searchable transcript, and automatic continuation in a fresh Session. The status pip beside the input box shades from green to blue to amber to red as pressure rises.

Two round buttons at the foot of the DSH desktop sidebar on Windows: restart the app without a console window ever flashing on screen, and open the DeepSeek top-up page in your browser. The restart path launches the helper through WMI and wscript so the new process never inherits a console; it verifies the executable path before killing anything and preserves the original command line. Windows 10/11 only (the package declares os: win32).

Requires Python 3.10+ with aiohttp and mcp on the computer side, plus the AutoX.js script running on the phone with screen-capture and accessibility permissions; the phone long-polls your machine, so no public port and no relay server.

Sends one system notification when a DSH turn ends: per-outcome switches for completed, error and interrupted, a minimum-duration threshold, silent subagents and unfocused-window-only delivery. Works on Windows, macOS and Linux, delivered through a connected page or a native fallback (PowerShell toast, osascript, notify-send; the Linux native fallback needs libnotify). Clicking the notification brings DSH back to the front on the page/Electron channel; PowerShell and notify-send notifications are not clickable.

Task alerts for DSH: a system toast when a turn finishes, or when an approval, question or plan review is waiting; a chime rendered on the Windows communications endpoint so the system ducks other media by its own setting and restores it afterwards, without anyone's volume being written; and an optional copy mailed to your phone over SMTP (465 implicit TLS, or STARTTLS where credentials go out only after the upgrade). No runtime dependency: the sound helper is a PowerShell script, the mail client is plain Node.
