One DSH tool that runs a command on any execution surface the machine has -- WSL, MSYS2, Git Bash, PowerShell, nushell, interpreters, throwaway containers, ssh, real terminal windows and a real console -- and reports the version each one gives and the capabilities it has.

A Windows-only DSH plugin that cleans up the taskbar in one click and closes windows the graceful way, sending WM_CLOSE (exactly what Alt+F4 sends) so applications can save and exit. Cleanup is preview-first, listing every window that would be closed before anything happens, and the execute action stays disabled until you have previewed. Windows are shown two ways, a compact icon grid where one click closes that single window and a per-app detail view with full titles plus a close this whole app action and a per-window close button, so you can close one window, every window of one application, or everything at once. Elevated administrator windows are supported too, through a single UAC prompt that sends the same graceful close and reports the real result instead of pretending success. Leftover empty console shells, meaning consoles whose interpreter has no business child process left besides conhost, can be hidden losslessly or genuinely closed, and that action is restricted to bare cmd, powershell, pwsh and python prompts. Hard guards keep the DSH host and its whole process tree, Fluent, MPI, ANSYS and solver processes, the foreground window and the plugin itself out of reach, and a persistent exemption whitelist of process names and title keywords is stored in ~/.dsh/console-sentinel/whitelist.json and editable from the Console Sentinel page under Settings, which also shows live window status.

Manages the lifecycle of the local UM GenAI proxy (127.0.0.1:8788) that DSH's um-genai provider talks to: wakes it on demand for llm/stream calls, stops it after an idle period, and reports health plus a read-only status endpoint. Also ships a DSH settings page for port, always-on mode, idle minutes, interpreter and paths, plus the UM account and proxy API key, and a button that writes the providers.um-genai entry into the profile patch and fills in its model list, since a fresh profile has no provider and the model picker would otherwise stay empty. A renewal watchdog logs in to the campus gateway on a hidden Windows desktop when the upstream token expires. The proxy itself is um_opencode_setup.py, a single-file tool distributed by the University of Macau; a copy is vendored in vendor/ so a fresh install works out of the box, while a copy in ~/.um-opencode/ takes precedence when present. The plugin still does not produce tokens: those come from logging in to the campus gateway. Requires Windows (process discovery and idle shutdown use netstat/taskkill; renewal uses PowerShell and a hidden desktop), Python 3.10+ and a University of Macau account.

Diagnostiziert und behebt, dass gebündeltes Python wegen hardened runtime/library validation native Erweiterungen onnxruntime/cv2/pypdfium2 nicht lädt: fügt disable-library-validation-Entitlement hinzu, signiert den Interpreter neu und prüft Imports. Idempotent, sichert zuerst das Originalbinary und ändert nie das äußere App-Bundle.
