Pins your DeepSeek Harness account balance to the bottom-right corner and refreshes it every 60 seconds, with a click for an immediate lookup.

Shows the remaining DeepSeek account balance in the composer dock, right after the cache-hit reading, and links to the Platform usage page. Requires a signed-in DeepSeek account; API-key-only setups show nothing.

See what a conversation actually costs: how many model requests, how big the system prompt and tool table are, cumulative tokens, estimated spend, and how far you are from automatic context compaction. Reads the local session log only; never calls a model, never adds a word to the system prompt. Token and spend figures are estimates from character counts, not provider usage.

Collapses long pasted text into an expandable chip in the composer: hover shows the body and where it came from, sending expands it back in place, and long text written by other plugins is taken over the same way.

Claude Code Desktop-style selection quoting: select text in a conversation to reply to that passage from a popover, or fork the session into a side chat in the right sidebar with the selection quoted. Adds a time-aware greeting line under the DSH home hero headline: seven local-time slots with tsundere whale-girl lines, phrase overrides through ~/.dsh/greeting.json, and Ctrl+R / F5 bound back to a real page reload.

Shows a character avatar and an editable ID beside every assistant reply, and reads the reply aloud with the system voice or a local TTS service you point it at; includes presets, a playback bar with pause and sentence skipping, tone and speed controls, and one-click launching of that service.

Rewrites the New Session hero headline with a short greeting written by the model the session already uses, from the local time, the current city and the live weather; falls back to a local time-based greeting when no model is reachable.

Draws the sidebar navigation as a compact two-column grid at every viewport; on narrow, short or coarse-pointer screens it additionally caps the navigation at 34vh with scrolling so the workspace and session history keep a 38vh floor. Also repairs dsh-resource:// records whose protocol the browser URL parser reports as empty.

Adds a per-answer Process drawer that streams, in Simplified Chinese, the agent thinking, tool calls and errors for that turn.

Adds two buttons to the sidebar footer: one reloads the interface and client plugins only, the other restarts the desktop app together with its Host. A restart is refused while a plugin install is running. Restart is Windows only and returns 409 elsewhere; reload works on all platforms.

Adds a "Terms" action to finished assistant answers that explains the computer-science terms it detects with Chinese definitions, occurrence counts, highlighted context snippets, and clickable nested explanations from a built-in offline dictionary, with no model calls.

Adds an Optimize button to the composer that rewrites a one-line idea into a structured product brief: a positioning sentence, 3–6 key features, visual references and design tokens; it sits beside your original text in a compare dialog where you can accept it into the input, generate another version, or cancel and keep the draft untouched. No settings page and no API keys — it calls the model channel you already configured.

Adds a Polish button to the composer tool row right of the permission control: it reads the draft you have already typed, has the current model infer your intent and rewrite the draft into a clearer prompt, then turns the button into Cancel so one click restores the exact pre-polish text.

WeChat-style screenshot: freeze the desktop, drag a region or click a window, and the crop lands in the composer. A Windows-only fork of Durandalw/dsh-plugin-screenshot; do not install it alongside the upstream plugin.

Drag files and folders from the sidebar Files pane into the message composer. A dropped file becomes an inline chip inside the sentence, an uploaded attachment card, or a plain @ path, switchable in Settings.

Small-window mode for DSH NEXT on Windows: a 425px-wide always-on-top sticky window with a drawer sidebar and animated transitions. Requires DSH NEXT; the other desktop client (dsh desktop) is not supported.

Turns the composer send button into a tomato button while a task is running and the draft is empty. One or two taps hand the model a hidden note on its next step asking it to reflect on the approach and to finish by asking the user how to continue; three taps within a second stop the run first and send the same kind of note. Thrown-tomato animations and sound can be switched off in settings, which also counts every tomato thrown.

Adds a Settings → General row that opens ~/.dsh/AGENTS.md in the system editor, so the instruction file can be opened without hunting for it. On Windows it launches Notepad and raises the window.

Adds a circular restart button to the session header, plus an optional app.asar patch that also puts a Restart row in the tray menu.
