Browser actions preserve failure evidence, accept an explicit post-action observation scope and can check one final visible/text/value/URL condition without replaying effects. Expandable context preserves model content; dockable annotations support a session-bound staging queue with edit/delete/restore, and append to chat drafts without sending. App control prefers a matching installed MCP or approved installation, then Cua Driver with text, hotkeys and paged controls; desktop reads present the window once per connection or when recovery is needed. Background input depends on the app. Requires Chrome or Edge 125+ with the companion MV3 extension manually loaded and paired; installing the plugin does not install the extension.

DSH plugin half of Fish Buddy: relays a separately downloaded Windows desktop whale widget (the .exe from the project's Releases page) to the session you bind; the widget itself does the listening, speaking, live subtitles, sampled frames and in-game chat, and downloads one of its voice-recognition models (228 MB default) on first use.

Off-peak batch runner for DeepSeek Harness: users define tasks during busy hours — prompt, strategy, priority, workspace, locked files — and release them by hand; the plugin then runs the batch automatically inside user-defined off-peak windows. Each run passes five preflight checks (workspace, git HEAD, locked-file sha256, window fit, daily budget), supports four execution strategies (single / iterative / sampling / review) and three autonomy levels (L1 per-task, L2 batch, L3 full-auto), and closes the loop with a morning report containing diffs, actual spend and savings from a daily ledger aligned with official peak/valley pricing.

Installs four multi-agent math-research presets for DSH: v2 (probability-driven pipeline with multi-verifier debate), v3 (paper-style Markdown knowledge base with a planner agent and a reusable method library), v4 (persistent self-organizing residents that message and meet), and v5 (a research institute with an academician who decomposes and assigns work, voting researchers, temp workers, group chat and a compare-and-set task board); all four support checkpoint resume, human intervention, and an optional Lean formal-verification switch (off/encourage/require) whose passing proof turns the vote into a fidelity check of the Lean statements.

WorkBuddy-style skill picker: a button beside the composer opens a searchable list of installed skills; picking one inserts the official /skill-name gesture, so the skill loads with your message.

Paper reading workbench: library + PDF reader + tutor-style companion. Answers cite clickable page numbers that jump back and flash the exact passage; select-to-ask without leaving the paper; bundled strict-tutor preset (reading plan, section coaching, graded quizzes tracked across sessions). With MinerU configured (self-hosted, no signup / mineru.net cloud token): scanned PDFs become readable, formulas become click-citable (one click sends the LaTeX source into the chat) and searchable (QK^T hits directly), plus a per-page formula panel; optional embeddings endpoint adds semantic recall for plain-language questions. Rename/delete topics and papers — deletes go to a recoverable .trash with a batch-clear flow for non-empty topics; reader with scroll/single-page modes, rightbar-fullscreen safe, one-click path copy and translated-PDF export; in-place original ↔ Chinese toggle (babeldoc, zero preinstall). Transcription and search run locally by default — documents never leave your machine; only when cloud MinerU, an embeddings endpoint, or a translation endpoint is enabled does the corresponding text go to the service you configure.

Windows plugin that swaps the host shell executor for Git for Windows bash across every agent mode, materializes Git Bash variants of the standard, minimal, PTC and Cordis presets (per-file sha256-marked, user edits preserved), and exposes a gitBash capability so companion presets pick Git Bash automatically; when dsh-better-sidebar is installed it also adopts that sidebar's terminal shell (UI tabs and the model-facing terminal_* tools) through its official settings seam.

Novel-writing guardrails: 20 novel_* tools enforce fact-ledger consistency, phase and chapter gates, machine audit with deterministic metrics, and proposal-only revisions; a right-panel workbench covers reading, TTS playback, polish, proofread, continuity checks and batch drafting, and a bypass engine runs internal steps off the main conversation.

One-command backup, restore & migration for all DSH user data (~/.dsh) with a visual Settings panel: scheduled auto-backup with tiered retention, sha256 verification, hardened restore with auto-rollback and a result receipt, typed sub-backups (--types), credential redaction into a local vault, private-repo GitHub sync for moving to a new machine, and an out-of-process rescue console (zero-dependency rescue web UI in the backup dir) that works even when the host won't boot. /backup doctor checks and repairs corrupt session logs from a known-good backup and quarantines them before rotation; migrate-check statically predicts which sessions a host upgrade would break (frozen event-list rules, filename/generation mismatch, hardlink support, legacy credentials); the credential sentinel preserves pre-migration copies before the host rewrites them; smart backup snapshots before host upgrades; /backup check-update and /backup update report and install new releases (snapshotting first). Restore handles attachment hard links and arbitrarily large archives (streamed listing).
