Words marked on textbook or workbook photos (highlighter, red pen) are found by their marks, then translated and stored in a local SQLite bank with an occurrence count; the clipboard picker, the photo route and dictation all land in the same bank. High-frequency words surface by count, three correct answers in a row flag a word as learned, and any selection prints as a memory card set (a word split into chunks, real IPA per chunk, a grade-7 example sentence, a mnemonic hook, an A4 sheet of eight) in HTML, PDF or Word, with a print-and-answer exam page whose four options are set against each other for meaning. On 0.1.5 the settings panel does not appear - install dsh-word-vault@1.0.2 instead.

Facts and decisions carry semantic keys (one active truth per key), the model may only write to an inbox that a human promotes, an entry can carry a review date that raises a one-time reminder when due, and search is relevance-ranked with journal lines down-weighted and Chinese matched by bigram. A sidebar tab tells the lifecycle story instead of listing files - entries are grouped by stage (awaiting confirmation / in use / archived) along four axes (topic - one level, human-assigned, type, tag, date), each group can be ticked for batch promote / withdraw / archive / restore / delete / assign topic, and topics can be renamed store-wide or searched on their own. The archived stage reads in three levels - the category says why an entry left (distilled into the docs / useless for good / not needed right now, the first two being defaults you can add to), below it the entry topic stays collapsed until you click it, and entries with no topic sit right under the category. The tab also shows the global and workspace instruction files plus the current injection size. A zero-dependency CLI ships with it, so the store is usable without DSH.

When a turn produces no visible text and no tool call, the assistant message is persisted empty, the gateway then rejects every later request in that session with 'content or tool_calls must be set', and the session is dead with no way back through chat. This plugin registers a single llm/stream waterfall listener and, only when the turn carried nothing visible, injects a small text block immediately before the terminal finish, so the persisted message is never empty.
