dsh-qr-toolkit

QR code & barcode toolkit for DeepSeek Harness (DSH). Two model-facing tools:

• qr_decode — decode QR codes / barcodes from images (local path or http(s) URL; PNG/JPEG)
• qr_generate — render text/links into a QR code PNG in the session workspace

Dual-engine decoding: jsqr first (best for QR codes in screenshots), falling back to @zxing/library MultiFormatReader (QR / Code128 / EAN / UPC / DataMatrix / …). Pure JS, no native dependencies, Node ≥ 22.19.

Install

# Preferred: via the dsh CLI
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-qr-toolkit

# Or npm into the profile dir
cd ~/.dsh/profiles/web && npm install dsh-qr-toolkit --save

Restart dsh web to activate (the package joins the profile bundle layer via dsh.bundle).

Security

Reads only the image you point at (local file or explicit URL); writes only into the session workspace. No outbound traffic beyond a URL you pass in. Input size capped to prevent OOM; AbortSignal propagates for cancellation.
