DSH Desktop enhancement plugin: task-execution discipline plus a real relationship, per session. Discipline: adaptive protocol tiers (short for chat / full for tasks / lean for reasoning models), intent routing across Q&A, lookup, discussion, diagnosis and execution (diagnosis never fixes unasked), evidence recency (verify timestamps and causality before citing logs or old errors), real tool-result verification (failed or unknown results are never reported as done), self-healing on repeated failures with a cross-session reflection loop, compaction awareness that re-anchors state after the host condenses history, and document-capability awareness (probe for document tools and constrain accordingly: with tools, read before you write and read back before claiming done; without them, state the boundary instead of hand-parsing binary office files). Persona: distill named characters from chat logs, novels, scripts and character-setting documents, with tone, catchphrases and reply length anchored to real material statistics; long-term memory with automatic expiry for time-bound facts, corrections captured as style rules, approved replies pinned as corpus, two-way feedback that converges with use, memory star map, and persona card export/import. Constraints are injected only when relevant, so idle chat pays no extra tokens.

Windows desktop automation for DeepSeek Harness: accessibility-first observe/act loop with 30 standard tools (element/coordinate targets, auto/a11y/event strategy routing), superseded-observations and no-replay safety semantics, persistent kill switch, RuntimeId/rect-drift stale protection, chat cards and a floating panel (live ops, frame wall, env auto-detect settings), tiled vision describe for low-res models, JSONL audit trail and a pid allowlist. Requires Windows 10+ and Python 3.9+ with uiautomation and pillow (installable from the settings page).

Fully local vector memory for DSH: local embeddings, SQLite storage, automatic recall injection, dedup with conflict detection, soft-delete recycle bin, online backup, and optional LLM extraction.

Free web search with 10 engines (Bing/DuckDuckGo/SearXNG/AnySearch free + Exa/Tavily/Keenable/Perplexity/DeepSeek paid), automatic fallback chain, time-filtered advanced search, platform search (GitHub/Reddit), web page fetching, LRU caching, and a settings UI. No API keys required for basic use.

Cron task scheduler for DSH: on schedule, automatically creates a new session and injects your prompt as its first message, with task history and manual run/stop controls. Also runs KNJ workflows: pick files directly (stored as persistent snapshots, re-handed to the workflow on every fire) or reference them by path. Its sidebar entry is provided by dsh-knj-menu; install together: dsh plugin add dsh-scheduler dsh-knj-menu.

Self-update for the harness launcher; checks npm for a newer @deepseek-ai/dsh, stages the tarball, and applies it on harness exit or via update-and-restart from the web panel.
