Generative aurora wallpaper for the Harness web UI: 13 palettes, adjustable breathing and motion, and a local photo or video as the backdrop.

One install for a whale-girl boot animation, a cyber code-eye video background and a holographic dark theme. The skin and background video (CC BY-NC-SA) are downloaded from the upstream repo on first launch; the boot animation is only installed when @ljwei-stak/dsh-boot-animation is already present.

Composer-dock badge that shows whether DeepSeek peak pricing is active: red during peak hours, yellow in the 30 minutes before they start, green off-peak, hidden for non-DeepSeek providers.

Fold the DSH left sidebar's plugin entries into a single 「插件列表」 row with grouping and custom ordering, giving vertical space back to the workspace and session list; expanding restores the full entry list.

A right-Sidebar video player with a folder playlist (first-frame thumbnails, duration badges, sort by name/duration/modified/size, fullscreen, and a context menu for rename/copy/delete/refresh when the folder is opened with write access), live playback telemetry (buffered range, decoded FPS, dropped frames) and a read-only MP4/MOV reader for codec profile/level, exact frame count, per-track bitrate and rotation. Registers no agent tool; file writes use the browser File System Access API only after a write-permission folder choice.

Zero-friction quick ask for DSH: select text in chat, Markdown/code, rendered HTML reports, or the better-sidebar editor. The default answer starts automatically (English prose is translated, a term is explained, a question is answered); typing cancels it. Answers stream from a one-shot completion on the main window's model, inherit a read-only conversation snapshot, read the selected file as context (up to 20,000 characters by default), and never write to the main session. One-line install; host routes, client slots, document renderers and the iframe selection bridge are separable extension points.

A frosted-glass status card that floats on the Windows desktop and shows what DSH is doing — running tasks with elapsed time and current activity, pending approvals, today's token usage and the countdown to the off-peak window — and collapses into a 14×120 bar that stays out of the way.

Adds an independently toggled native file explorer beside the conversation, with local and SSH file operations, fast remote @ completion, and native previews in the right sidebar.

Two-level model picker for the DeepSeek Harness composer: browse providers, then models, search across all providers or within one provider, select supported reasoning-effort levels, and navigate with arrow keys, Enter and Esc.

Plain click on an Obsidian vault file in the DSH conversation opens it in the right app: notes in the Obsidian app, configured types (for example .tex) in VS Code with their project folder as the workspace; Cmd/Ctrl-click keeps the in-app preview. The open_vault_file tool follows the same routing, and every open is confined to the configured vaultRoot.

Embeds charts, comparison tables, and interactive blocks between answer paragraphs, with locally saved state and revision history.

Beads issue browser in the right sidebar: filter and search the tracker with live ready and waiting counts, read issue Markdown with clickable project-file and issue links, and copy or insert the issue id. Requires the bd CLI on PATH and a project with a Beads workspace.

Sidebar panel management for DeepSeek Harness: a grouped Panels launcher collects global panel rows and third-party plugin entry rows into one searchable menu — the full panel inventory (pinned and unpinned, unpinned open via temporary-pin peek), collapsible group memory, in-menu search with keyboard navigation, and hover pin/top quick-actions. A Ctrl+K command palette mirrors the inventory with quick commands; a keyboard-reachable right-click context menu covers open/pin/top/keep-in-sidebar. Supports icon-only panel rows, top-pinning with drag-to-reorder, a compact footer with granular sub-toggles, and a Settings page with height sliders, a locale-safe whitelist, pin management, and settings export/import.

Adds a sparkle button left of the model selector in the composer toolbar: one click rewrites the draft in place through the host and briefly offers an undo that restores the original text. A Prompt Enhancement settings section picks the lane — the conversation model (the provider/model the next message would use, falling back to the configured default) or a keyless Pollinations channel that needs no login and no token budget but allows one reply per 30 seconds. During that cooldown a click completes through the conversation model instead of being refused, and the first click after the window reopens returns to the keyless channel on its own. The rewrite keeps the draft's language, and a result in a different language is rejected rather than pasted over the draft.

Annotate replies and documents for the next message, edit past user messages and rerun from that point, and use keyboard shortcuts to navigate user messages or recall previous inputs in the composer.

A permanent status card in the top-right corner of the DSH content area: one line for where this turn's time went (model, tools, waiting), plus collapsible to-dos with a progress bar, the session goal (edit/pause/resume/clear), submitted plans that open in the preview pane, the files this session changed, subagents with their token and duration figures, and this session's background jobs: running rows carry a two-step stop button, finished ones fold into a count line that stays collapsed until opened; it yields space to the content as the area narrows and folds into a round button at the limit.

Press a chord, then type a letter label to click or focus any visible target.

Renders a dsh-view fence in an assistant reply as cards — text, tables, charts, Mermaid diagrams and sandboxed HTML widgets — with an editable model prompt, a render_view tool and a bundled skill.

Work todo reminders in a sidebar panel with four stage tabs (not started, in progress, overdue, done) plus separate recurring and paused filters, priority derived from the end time in real time, pinning that survives overdue, and enable/disable for recurring tasks. Recurrence covers workdays (following China's statutory holidays and make-up workdays), selected weekdays, monthly dates with month-end rollover, and 5-field cron; one-off tasks default to start and end reminders (start optional, end required); meetings can disable the end reminder. Alerts appear in a page overlay with optional browser notifications, snooze and quiet hours. Twelve agent tools; weekly/monthly reports, natural-language quick add, and cross-view search; data is a single local JSON file with completed tasks archived per quarter.

Rewrites the composer draft, or only the selected text, with one model call that uses the recent conversation as context, with cancel, revert, fidelity and length checks, and an optional preview.

The menu bar app itself is a separate AppKit build from the repo's app/ directory (swift build -c release on macOS); the plugin only provides the host bridge.

Adds a button left of the built-in Open In... in the session header that opens the current workspace directory in VS Code, fixing the desktop ELECTRON_RUN_AS_NODE environment leak that makes the built-in open-in-app fail with HTTP 502. Windows only: it locates Code.exe, so macOS and Linux are not supported yet.

Plays a character entrance card beside the composer when you switch model: identity name, six scored axes (intelligence, coding, speed, stability, cost, context), quota hint and a dialogue line. 23 curated cards across 15 providers; models without a curated card fall back to a data card derived from public benchmarks, or a generic card when no benchmark data exists. A web client plugin with no dependencies and no hooks.
