Deep PTC mode is an open-source agent preset for DeepSeek Harness that keeps the built-in PTC tool surface and replaces the persona with a working contract: a DeepSeek identity and unlimited-token-budget instruction so the model does not skip reads, commands or checks to save tokens; planning by estimated size (internal up to 5 minutes, shown without approval up to 20, approval required beyond); and asking about unclear intent instead of guessing. Waiting is limited in code by wrapping the official shell, job and question tools: foreground commands move to background jobs after 30 s (configurable), a steered user message ends the current wait so the model reads it, foreground pauses over 5 s and long timers in run_code are refused, and questions run in timed mode. The mode derives its preset from the official PTC declaration shipped by the installed Harness and inherits upstream composition changes, so an official PTC update — including removed or renamed modules — does not break existing sessions. A settings card selects the preset executor — Automatic, WSL Bash, Windows PowerShell, native Zsh or native Bash.

Control the Chrome browser you are already using: open new tabs or reuse your logged-in tabs, so the model can read pages, click, fill inputs, drag page elements, scroll, take screenshots, open tabs in groups and close the tabs it opened, inspect console and network logs, and debug the browser. Requires Chrome 120 or newer; install the extension from the Chrome Web Store and pair it with an 8-digit code.

Export any DeepSeek Harness session as a single self-contained HTML page that opens offline, with per-message picking, collapsed tool calls and default redaction of local paths and credentials.

Performance optimization and smoothness enhancement for DSH Desktop (renderer-side only; host code untouched, no on-disk config): skips offscreen message rendering, stops frames and timers while the window is hidden, lazily loads media, coalesces session-list repaints and pre-warms large session files; shows the measured main-thread saving in settings. A lightweight speed-up for lag, dropped frames, slow large-session opening and background CPU use.

Union web search for DSH (consolidated successor of DDDMUC/dsh-free-search, which it credits): 28 engines across three tiers — keyless free (Bing/DuckDuckGo/AnySearch/SearXNG multi-instance union, plus Exa/Tavily/Keenable/Firecrawl/Parallel keyless modes), paid-with-key (Zhihu/Perplexity/Serply/DeepSeek official/You.com/Baidu/Kimi/Aliyun/Doubao/Zhipu/Bocha/Metaso), and model built-in search (OpenAI/Gemini/Claude/Grok, explicit opt-in only) — with auto smart routing, per-engine enable/disable & fallback priority, parallel top-3 merge, multi_search, failure-aware fallback, a toggle to block the system built-in search, time filtering, platform search, web_fetch and a web settings UI. Experimental free advance_fetch: whole-page GFM-Markdown or CSS-selector/fields structured extraction with no API key and no per-call billing; fetch identity configurable (custom User-Agent, Referer, per-domain cookies attached only on domain match, never leaked across cross-domain redirects). Hosts 0.1.0-rc.2 through 0.2.1-rc.2 (17-tag exact engines.dsh enum; the rc.2 search-provider takeover goes through volatile config pinning after capability probing, never version branches). Literature research toolset registering 26 model tools over PubMed, Europe PMC, OpenAlex, PubTator3 and Semantic Scholar: field-syntax search, ID conversion, bibliographic lookup, citation formatting, MeSH and related-article walking, PubTator bioconcept resolution and relation queries, Europe PMC and Semantic Scholar paging, full-text retrieval, and open-access PDF discovery with optional download. A unified search deduplicates hits across sources and orders results by cross-source hits, then relevance, then citation count; a session knowledge graph with PubTator concept enrichment commits to a persistent user graph and renders as Mermaid. Most sources need no key.

Adds six AI coding platforms to DSH — OpenCode, Qoder, Qoder CN, TRAE, WorkBuddy and WorkBuddy International — each as its own group in the native model picker, and manages their accounts from one settings page, with daily check-in where the platform has one, credit balance lookups, and retry on another account of the same platform when one is rate-limited. Models carry their credit multiplier where the platform declares one. OpenCode's anonymous free tier works with no credential, and TRAE stays hidden by default until it is enabled in the settings.

Keeps project decisions in plain markdown instead of chat history: one main document plus per-module documents, every entry carrying a file:line citation. The agent interviews you to turn open questions into settled decisions, and a five-dimension score (task complexity, extensibility, maintainability, code quality, reusability) is derived from the documents and shown on a button beside the model picker. A session can bind several projects; projects are sized small/medium/large, which widens the entry limits, and a reusable-pipeline section in the main document is injected when its trigger words appear.

OpenCode Console (Zen) models for DeepSeek Harness: paste a Console API key under Settings → Plugins and the Console's chat models become selectable, with the catalog synced automatically, each model routed to the endpoint the official docs assign, and free *-free models hidden by default because they only run inside the OpenCode client.

Academic tools in TypeScript, no Python or MCP server: the Zotero library through its local API or zotero.org (search, annotations, full text, citation export; add by DOI / arXiv id, notes and tags when writing is turned on), starting Zotero when it is closed; paper search across arXiv, OpenAlex, Crossref, Semantic Scholar, PubMed and Europe PMC, plus CNKI and Google Scholar through a browser window; open-access full text, citations from the DOI registry, reference checking; 11 bundled skills.
