Design workbench in the right sidebar. When the model builds web pages, app screens, posters, slides or emails, each HTML file shows up as a screen on a canvas inside a device frame and refreshes when the file changes; local dev servers are proxied with hot reload intact. Click an element or drag a region to put its selector, source file and styles into the composer. Also has a design tokens panel, nine style presets, a style panel (font size, colors, radius, padding and more) that writes back to the HTML or hands the change to the model together with the CSS rule and line behind each property, versions saved before and after each turn with drag-to-compare and restore, export to images, PDF and PPTX (links between screens stay clickable), a LAN QR link for viewing on a phone, link arrows and a click-through demo mode, a multi-size view, in-place text editing, reference-image palettes, and a design check (overflowing, clipped or overlapping text, contrast, tap target size and more). Bundles a ui-design skill and three tools: preview_page opens a preview; check_design measures every screen at real sizes in a hidden local Chrome or Edge (bars covering content, script errors, missing assets, dead links; CSS file and line for contrast and font-size issues; cropped screenshots of serious problems); look_design hands real screenshots to the model. Adds a Design mode for new sessions (Standard mode's tools plus the skill, the three tools and a design persona); each part has its own switch on the Plugins page. When DSH is opened from a phone or another computer, local-file designs are bundled into a sandboxed frame so they still show.

Standalone wallpaper background for the DSH Web UI and desktop app: built-in wallpapers, local image/video uploads stored in IndexedDB, and a read-only local Wallpaper Engine library served by the bundled wallpaper-engine-api service in the repository; renders images, video and scene workshop previews, with light-fog/dark-overlay, blur, brightness and safe-zoom controls plus a read-only follow-desktop-wallpaper mode.

For the DeepSeek Harness native vision model deepseek-v4-flash-vision-exp, raises image admission limits to 32 MiB / 8192 px / 600 images and adds a highres_read tool that tiles large images, then returns the whole image plus 800x800 tiles through the host read_image tool.

Enhances data visualization in DeepSeek Harness by automatically selecting chart types from user input and generating images for trends, comparisons, proportions, relationships, and flows.

Let text-only models see images: when a picture arrives with a placeholder like \[image omitted because this model accepts text only], the model calls the vision_describe tool and the plugin forwards the image reference plus the question to a multimodal model, retrying with a fallback model on failure. Configured in the settings page and persisted via the official settings API.

A Witch on the Holy Night (Mahoutsukai no Yoru) visual-novel theme for the DeepSeek Harness Web UI, with original-style menus, three characters with personas, day and night playlists, and an ending sequence. The repo ships no assets of its own; the 380 files / 263 MiB it drives (136 sprites, 208 UI parts, 13 backgrounds, 23 audio) must be recovered from your own copy of the original game, and the screen stays largely empty until then. The 23 audio files are a header strip away from working OGG; the 357 images use proprietary .mzp/.cbg formats, so the per-file mapping guide offers two routes and one of them expects you to supply your own decoder.

Local OCR fallback for text-only routes: when the session model declares it cannot accept images, the attached image is cached locally and its path injected so the model can call ocr_image — PP-OCRv5 + ONNX Runtime on CPU, no API key, images never leave the machine. Silent when the model can see images.
