Adds human-facing TypeSafe Jev advice to DSH multiple-choice prompts, with recommendations, probabilities, confidence, close-call warnings, copyable suggestions, one-click adoption, remembered card layout, temporary decision preferences, and optional request previews with common-credential masking.

Windows toasts and a chime whenever a conversation task stops: task complete, the agent waiting on you (approval, question or plan review — approvals carry Approve / Reject in browser contexts), or an error stop, one reminder per stop with the error taking precedence. Clicking a toast opens that session at your last question and, in DSH Desktop, raises a minimized or tray-hidden window.

Local TXT reader in a right-sidebar tab plus a spoiler-safe AI reading companion: the model only sees what you have already read — the current chapter, the tail of the previous chapter, and a per-book background file it grows as you go. Excerpts, thoughts and the companion replies become structured Markdown notes exportable to Obsidian; raw text unlocks only for a book you mark as finished.

Drive DSH from anything that speaks HTTP: 47 routes (REST + SSE) for workspaces, sessions (create/prompt, live SSE generation, history, stats, todos, cancel, ask-user Q&A), models and the global default model, providers, agent presets, settings namespaces, skills, and workspace files including resumable chunked upload — plus an OpenAI-compatible /chat/completions, a built-in OpenAPI 3.0 spec and an interactive request page. It only injects the host webServer and tools, so it rides on the DSH webserver (default prefix /api/v1) or its own port with optional API-key auth, and it ships a skill that teaches the DSH agent to call the API.

The built-in web_search bills a full model turn against DeepSeek's own endpoint; this runs it on an OpenRouter-compatible gateway instead, so search is billed where your chat already is, at the model and price you pick.

Comet-mode animated caret for the DSH Web composer: a glowing trail glides to the text position, with configurable accent color, thickness, trail, and a 500 ms idle blink. Extends the surface to ask-question card inputs, and fixes the caret vanishing on an empty composer or first focus, forward drag-selection not following the pointer, soft line breaks measuring against the previous line, and the caret painting outside the composer when long input scrolls. Stages exact DSH tool calls without dispatch, presents complete canonical arguments in a durable Batch Review Inbox, invalidates approvals after edits or restarts, and commits only a matching SHA-256 digest plus single-use nonce through the normal DSH tool pipeline.

Personal paste inbox for DeepSeek Harness (dsh): /inbox in the composer or the sidebar panel files links, images, text and credentials into a local vault, classifies them by local rules and then by a rate-capped model pass, and browses, searches and edits them from the panel; the assistant retrieves records on request in conversation, credential bodies stay encrypted at rest, and an optional WebDAV or S3 remote syncs records and attachment bytes. Windows only so far.

Filesystem permissions for shell calls, granted per path and capability rather than per command name. The command line is parsed for the read, write, create, delete and execute effects it needs, a capability it lacks raises the approval card instead of a flat refusal, and the same rules are compiled into the macOS Seatbelt profile the process, its children and the code its arguments never showed all run under. An Approvals tab in the conversation reads the audit log back and shows which rule, automatic reviewer or person answered each call.
