One authenticated OpenAI-compatible endpoint (built on CLIProxyAPI) for dsh and other tools: gathers WorkBuddy, OpenCode Zen, local Ollama / LM Studio and CLI subscriptions such as Codex and Kimi, signs in from the dsh page without installing their CLIs, and syncs the picked models into dsh grouped by source. The settings page has a switch per source with free / paid tags, plan usage, API keys with 24-hour stats, per-source model picking, and update / uninstall. Runs on macOS, Linux (including next to dsh-vps) and Windows.

Registers a real-browser URL-to-text MCP server in a DSH profile: fetch_url and fetch_urls render JavaScript-heavy and anti-bot Chinese pages (Zhihu, CSDN, Juejin, cnblogs) and return clean article text as JSON with per-tier diagnostics, and crawler_status reports whether the browser is available. Needs a one-time Python dependency setup after install.

Stops DeepSeek Harness from compacting (summarizing) your conversation far too early. Without it, compaction fires around half-full on smaller context windows; with it, compaction waits until the window is as full as you want (80% by default), settable per provider/model. It only changes when compaction happens — what a summary keeps is still DSH’s decision.

Exposes the models already configured in DeepSeek Harness through an OpenAI-compatible gateway, so other local projects can call them with any standard OpenAI client. Multiple provider candidates share one named group with ordered, balanced or random dispatch; upstream failures before any output switch to the next candidate transparently, and rate-limited requests are retried after the provider's backoff. Per-candidate call statistics (attempts, answers, failures, token/TTFT totals) appear as badges in the settings page, and daily aggregates persist to a local file with a 30-day heatmap and trend view. Until you create a key in the UI, the endpoint accepts calls from anyone who can reach it; keys (stored as SHA-256 hashes) then turn authentication on, and the endpoint stays locked even after the last key is revoked. Exposing the optional LAN listener without a key leaves the port open to the whole network. Runs on DSH 0.1.2-rc.1 through 0.1.7-alpha.1 and later.

Markdown rendering for DeepSeek Harness sent user messages: every message bubble renders lists, code, tables, quotes and inline formatting through the host's own Markdown pipeline, while queues, previews and the composer keep their plain projection.

Paper reading workbench: a paper library, the PDF beside Markdown notes and one dedicated AI session per paper. Highlights and region screenshots go straight into notes; select-to-ask sends the passage with its page; notes are editable in place with autosave; sessions can be combined into a Summary.

Adds hover Recall / Delete / Delete-onward actions to every message row: removes content from the model context and the transcript together via durable append-only tombstones, with an empty-content guard so old deletions can never break strict providers. Tested on the DSH 2.0 desktop.

Deep-sea skin for the DSH Web UI: an 80-token light/dark theme layer, a two-layer background, a gradient sidebar with a whale sticker, a wordmark that doubles as the skin switch, and a rotating turn-status line.

Local images and videos as the DSH desktop window background: timed rotation with 0.7s cross-fades, first-frame-ready before fading in, automatic light/dark ink for readability, adjustable blur and panel/sidebar opacity, video thumbnails, and a probe endpoint reporting load, layer and selector health. Active wait for background subagents in DeepSeek Harness: registers a wait_subagent model tool that blocks until a named background continuable subagent settles, then returns its stop reason and closing message — optional timeout, membership gate rejects unknown ids, event-driven with zero polling. Closes the gap between run_in_background fire-and-return and the async settlement notice; wait for a background subagent without polling list_agents.

Web reading tools for text-only agents. Five read-only tools: web_fetch (any URL rendered as clean Markdown or plain text), web_links (inventory of a page's links), web_feed (RSS 2.0 / Atom entries), web_headers (HTTP status, response headers and redirect chain without downloading the body, HEAD with automatic GET fallback), and web_table (HTML tables extracted as structured rows with header detection and colspan/rowspan grid expansion). Transport is Node fetch plus a zero-dependency HTTP proxy implementation (CONNECT tunnelling, absolute-URI requests, NO_PROXY with suffix/wildcard/IPv4-CIDR matching, Proxy-Authorization). Zero runtime dependencies.

Comet-mode animated caret for the DSH Web composer: a glowing trail glides to the text position, with configurable accent color, thickness, trail, and a 500 ms idle blink. Extends the surface to ask-question card inputs, and fixes the caret vanishing on an empty composer or first focus, forward drag-selection not following the pointer, soft line breaks measuring against the previous line, and the caret painting outside the composer when long input scrolls. Huawei HarmonyOS assistant-today (负一屏) task-completion push for DeepSeek Harness: hiboard_push / hiboard_verify tools post Markdown task results to the phone card feed, wire-compatible with the OpenClaw today-task skill, with the authCode managed from the dsh settings panel.
