Persists unsent composer attachments per session, so images and files pasted into the input box survive page switches, conversation switches and app restarts: the bytes are mirrored in IndexedDB and handed back through the official createDrafts/addAttachments channel, and are dropped as soon as the message is sent or you remove them.

Local images and videos as the DSH desktop window background: timed rotation with 0.7s cross-fades, first-frame-ready before fading in, automatic light/dark ink for readability, adjustable blur and panel/sidebar opacity, video thumbnails, and a probe endpoint reporting load, layer and selector health. Reads only the local files you point it at.

Web search provider with switchable engines, several usable without an API key (Bing, DuckDuckGo, SearXNG and others) and a fallback order between them; adds multi_search, platform_search, image_search with an in-chat image wall, page_images and save_images, plus a settings page for engines, keys and per-engine proxy.

Shopping assistant for e-commerce: search, compare, pick and recommend products when buying things online, with price comparison, sales, service tags, product images and promotion links from the official Pinduoduo open-platform API, right inside the DSH conversation.

Vision bridge for text-only DeepSeek routes that analyzes attached and local images through configurable OpenAI Responses, Chat Completions, or Anthropic Messages endpoints while leaving image-capable routes native.

Personal paste inbox for DeepSeek Harness (dsh): /inbox in the composer or the sidebar panel files links, images, text and credentials into a local vault, classifies them by local rules and then by a rate-capped model pass, and browses, searches and edits them from the panel; the assistant retrieves records on request in conversation, credential bodies stay encrypted at rest, and an optional WebDAV or S3 remote syncs records and attachment bytes. Windows only so far.
