One-command backup, restore & migration for all DSH user data (~/.dsh) with a visual Settings panel: scheduled auto-backup with tiered retention, sha256 verification, hardened restore with auto-rollback and a result receipt, typed sub-backups (--types), credential redaction into a local vault, private-repo GitHub sync for moving to a new machine, and an out-of-process rescue console (zero-dependency rescue web UI in the backup dir) that works even when the host won't boot. /backup doctor checks and repairs corrupt session logs from a known-good backup and quarantines them before rotation; migrate-check statically predicts which sessions a host upgrade would break (frozen event-list rules, filename/generation mismatch, hardlink support, legacy credentials); the credential sentinel preserves pre-migration copies before the host rewrites them; smart backup snapshots before host upgrades; /backup check-update and /backup update report and install new releases (snapshotting first). Restore handles attachment hard links and arbitrarily large archives (streamed listing). Current npm version 0.13.4; spans DSH 0.1.1-rc.2 through 0.2.0-rc.1, including 0.2.0's install-time peer gate. macOS/Linux/Windows.

Breeze TTS client for DeepSeek Harness: connects to your own Breeze TTS server to read replies aloud and manage voice cloning (the server and its model must be deployed separately; hardware requirements are on the server side), with an optional cross-machine mode. Merges @dsh-external/dsh-plugin-local-ai-tts (abbccdd/dsh-localtts) and dsh-breeze-voices, carries code from 1624318455/dsh-plugin-tts, and must not be installed alongside the two upstream plugins it merges.

Session takeover: read-only pull local sessions from nine external agents (Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, ZCode, Pi, WorkBuddy, Cursor, Grok, Gemini CLI) into distilled six-section handoff cards — one click on the Relay chip takes over. /handoff checks the current session into the handoff: 1 open-protocol inbox (~/.handoff, consume-once with machine-signature tamper detection); any agent picks up on start and continues. Memory files ride with cards; cross-machine relay is one env var away.

Install-time patch guard for cross-machine DSH group chat: fixes dsh-weave rc.14 defects (inject crash, random UDP port, 4KB ack frame limit) with four idempotent patches, alongside setup, mechanism and ops docs for the dsh-chat x dsh-weave x dsh-bridge chatroom stack.

A DeepSeek Harness plugin that turns the anywhere-claude-mem git sync into a DSH peer: pull cross-machine memory at session start and push new prompts/observations as they land in the claude-mem worker

Device-pairing gateway for DeepSeek Harness: by default it listens on 127.0.0.1:3443 over plain HTTP and reverse-proxies the local dsh at http://127.0.0.1:3080, so a loopback-only install works without any certificate. Production, cross-machine and app pairing require TLS: configure tlsCert/tlsKey plus an https publicUrl (self-signed is fine). A fronting Caddy/Nginx may terminate the public TLS, but the gate itself still needs tlsCert/tlsKey and the proxy must connect back over HTTPS. Features TOTP-authorised QR device pairing, username/password login, sliding sessions with absolute caps, device revocation, a WebUI admin panel and audit log, and a reverse proxy with WebSocket tunnelling. First-run setup is completed in the WebUI wizard. Tests: 171/171 unit tests, 29-step e2e.
