dsh-compaction-probe

Step-0 observation probe for dsh-compaction-audit. It listens to session/event and logs every compaction/* event to a JSONL file, probing whether shadowedSeqs still resolve to readable events in session.events at the moment the summary lands.

Observe-only: never injects, never blocks, never modifies a session. It exists to verify (before building the audit) that the compaction event stream is delivered to plugin subscribers and that the shadowed original events are still readable.

Output

Writes one JSON object per compaction event to <DSH_HOME>/reports/compaction-probe.jsonl (override with config.logFile). A compaction/summary record includes the summary text plus a shadowedProbe array: for each shadowed seq, whether the original event is readable, its event type, and a text preview.

Why

The audit plan (REVISED-PLAN.md) makes session.events the source of truth for cross-checking a summary against its originals. This probe confirms that assumption is true at runtime — if shadowedSeqs point to already-cleaned or unreadable events, the audit must be redesigned (e.g., verbatim ledger), before it is built.
