README

dsh-prompt-chips

A quick-prompt menu in the composer tool row of the DeepSeek Harness Web UI.

The trigger is a small lightning button beside the attach, permission and plan controls. Click it to open a menu of saved prompts; picking one inserts it into the composer at the caret. Arrow keys move through the menu, Enter picks, Escape closes.

Requirements

  • DeepSeek Harness with the Web UI. The package declares both dsh.bundle and dsh.client, and its engines.dsh is >=0.2.0-rc.1 || >=0.2.1-rc.1 || >=0.2.2-rc.1.
  • No other plugin is required.

Install

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-prompt-chips

Installed from the repository instead:

dsh plugin add yunxiao11xie/dsh-prompt-chips

Use

  1. Open a Session in the Web UI.
  2. Click the lightning button in the composer tool row.
  3. Pick a prompt, or choose Edit prompts… to change them.

The four default prompts cover continuing, summarising the conversation, explaining code and writing tests. Edits are stored in the browser (localStorage) and never leave the machine; an empty field falls back to its default text.

Notes

  • UI text follows the active Harness locale; English and Chinese ship with the plugin.
  • Colors come from the Harness theme tokens, so the menu follows light and dark themes.
