Persistent work-progress row in the band below the composer: task completion, a progress bar, and what the agent is doing right now (generating a reply or running a tool), expandable into the full task list with turns, steps, timings and context usage.

Chain-of-thought panel for the DSH Web right sidebar: folds the live reasoning stream of each session into turn → step groups carrying the reasoning text and the tool calls made in that step. Only the newest turn is expanded by default and earlier turns collapse to one line; steps are grouped into activity phases by a local rule, the step waiting on a tool is marked, tool failures show their reason, full reasoning text is fetched per step on demand, an all-turn directory searches turn titles, user text and turn numbers locally, and a whole turn can be summarised into a Chinese title with one model call.

Resident search index living in the host process: hot_find (fuzzy filename and path match, with frecency and git status), hot_fuzzy (content search that tolerates typos, including in Chinese), hot_grep (literal and regex content search), hot_plan (groups hits per file so a batch of files can be read in order) and hot_stats. One in-memory line index is built once and rebuilt on demand, so a query does not spawn a process.

Markdown live rendering for the DSH Web UI composer: typed Markdown (bold, lists, code fences) renders as you type in a CodeMirror-based takeover composer; sent user messages render as Markdown; pasted rich text becomes clean Markdown.

Generate and edit images, generate video, and cut video locally through a GenBox server, with a zero-key test bench.

DeepSeek Harness permission guard: work inside the workspace is never interrupted; only the extra permission a call asks for is judged — machine-safe actions pass, system changes ask with a consequence analysis, destructive ones are refused.

DeepSeek Harness plugin: host-owned process & port lifecycle for local agents. start/stop/list/logs/wait-ready, tracked port reclaim, Processes rightbar + dock chip.

DeepSeek Harness plugin: host-owned long-horizon task board for local coding agents. Next≤3, in-flight, done+verify, inject file + STATUS.md + rightbar/dock chip.

Retrospective agent-session evaluation: deterministic grade cards and cross-session regression diffs from persisted logs — no benchmark runs, no LLM judges.

Model-facing library_search tool: free cross-ecosystem (npm/crates.io/Maven/Go/PyPI/RubyGems + GitHub) 'has this already been built?' search — exact-name ranked, stars/downloads as fitness signals, no API key required

The child-scoped report tool for continuable in-process subagents on DeepSeek Harness: installs `report` plus its usage guidance into every continuable child scope, so findings reach the parent before the child finishes.

session:// internal-URL scheme handler: read a session transcript, read one event as JSON, list sessions, and search past history through internal-URL-aware read/grep tools — standalone for DeepSeek Harness.
