A DeepSeek-only plugin series for DeepSeek Harness — every plugin targets the DeepSeek platform exclusively: official DeepSeek API endpoints, DEEPSEEK_API_KEY credentials, and the DeepSeek wallet. No other platforms or providers are supported, and no cross-provider compatibility is planned. Each plugin is a standalone bundle with one-command install and its own version.

Install

Option 1 — npm (recommended, one command). web is the profile dsh web uses; replace it with your own profile name if yours differs (see ls ~/.dsh/profiles/):

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-balance-plugin

If a registry mirror or pnpm 11's minimum-release-age guard has not picked up a just-released version yet, install or update that exact version from the official npm registry instead:

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-balance-plugin@<version> --registry=https://registry.npmjs.org/

Option 2 — GitHub Release. Download the dsh-balance-plugin-<version>.tgz asset for the release you want from the Releases page, then:

dsh plugin --profile web add ./dsh-balance-plugin-<version>.tgz

Restart dsh web and refresh the browser — the balance appears at the sidebar foot (beside Settings).

Desktop app. The Desktop app serves the same Web surface, so install into its own desktop profile instead of web — from the app's Plugins page, or dsh plugin --profile desktop add dsh-balance-plugin while the app is quit. Tested on Desktop 0.2.0-rc.2 (sidebar action registered, both /dsh-balance routes mounted).

Update

The plugin requires DeepSeek Harness 0.1.7 or 0.2.0 (release candidates included). On the 0.2.0 series install 0.2.3 or newer: 0.2.2 and earlier declare only the 0.1.7 series, so the Harness refuses to load them. For an existing npm install:

Restart dsh web and hard-refresh the browser after the update. To update a Release-tarball install, run dsh plugin --profile web add ./dsh-balance-plugin-<version>.tgz with the newer archive, then run the same verification.
