DSH Knit는 대화와 관련된 작업공간의 Markdown, 코드, 이미지, 동영상을 순위화해 표시합니다. 기본 BM25/IDF 어휘 검색은 최근 대화와 문서의 제목·요약·본문을 로컬 비교하며 모델이나 네트워크를 쓰지 않아 데이터가 기기 밖으로 나가지 않습니다. 최근 파일 목록이 아니라 전체 작업공간을 스캔하므로 재시작·새 세션 후에도 유지됩니다. 관련도 3단계, 일치/참조 근거, 인라인 미리보기를 제공하고 Context Pack을 knit_docs로 에이전트에 노출합니다. 읽을 때 귀속을 고정하는 읽기 증거, 검색 전에 적용하고 되돌릴 수 있는 고정/제외, 줄 번호가 있는 참조·import·test 증거, 재시작 후 재사용되는 증분 인덱스도 지원합니다. v0.23 하이브리드 검색은 선택 기능이며 기본 꺼짐; 사용자가 Ollama 또는 OpenAI 호환 임베딩을 설정해야 켜집니다. 전송 항목은 query와 후보의 제목/요약뿐입니다(Markdown 첫 부분 최대 60자, 코드는 상대 디렉터리, 미디어는 파일명). 전체 본문과 절대 경로는 전송하지 않으며 loopback이면 기기 안에 남습니다. v0.24는 미커밋 변경을 읽기 전용 git status(고정 argv, shell 없음, 환경 allowlist)로 연관시키지만 기본 꺼짐입니다. 실제 공급자 테스트 전에는 검색 개선을 주장하지 않습니다.
