Acid-graphics theme for the DeepSeek Harness Web UI: six complete palettes (acid, neon orange, electric cyan, violet, rose, warm orange-light) registered as switchable themes, plus an optional WebGL wireframe crystal backdrop driven by pointer and scroll, local wallpapers with a dimming mask and background lettering, a crystal startup animation with optional local video, and a Settings section that holds every control.

A deep-sea dive startup splash for DeepSeek Harness: a depth gauge with a submersible probe, a character reveal video that then loops, and a seafloor with coral, bubbles and slow drifting particles. The depth reached decides which sea creatures appear.

Live download progress in the DSH session header — percentage, transfer speed, ETA and phase per download, with file-size probing before a transfer starts and byte-range resume after an interruption. The progress cards render as a fixed overlay at the top-right of the chat window.

Opens chat.deepseek.com inside DSH Desktop from a conversation view tab (next to Chat / Trajectory / Context, scoped to the open conversation) and from a left-rail globe button — all entries share one embedded page, so switching between them never reloads it. Keeps you signed in across restarts by replaying a localStorage plus readable-cookie snapshot before the page's own scripts run, strips only the Electron/<version> token from the user agent, and keeps navigation inside deepseek.com while sending everything else to the system browser. Pure client code: no host-side script, no file access, no credential service, no server route.

Needs DSH 0.2.0-rc.2 or later; starting or debugging Java programs needs a local JDK and Maven, and starting front-end programs needs Node.

Hosted PrimeSync AI Studio strategy-research MCP configuration bundle using the official MCP client and mcp-remote OAuth bridge; eligible Studio access required. Experimental: OAuth consent and tool calls are not yet verified end-to-end. Complete manual CLI sign-in on the same computer before starting Harness; otherwise tools may be absent after startup. Targets DSH 0.2.1-rc.2 only; mcp-remote 0.15.2 is downloaded through npx on first launch.

Two DeepSeek Harness tools for the local tempguard watchdog: read temperatures and alertd health, and send alerts through alertd; it does not start or stop the watchdog. Needs the separate tempguard Python watchdog and its alertd service running locally, with projectDir and alertdToken set in the profile patch; there is no npm package, so install from a local clone of the repository subfolder.

Restarts the DeepSeek Harness desktop app from three places: a Settings row, the account menu above Sign out, and a configurable keyboard shortcut. Asks before interrupting running tasks. If a newer update is already downloaded and waiting, restarting installs it first. Windows desktop app only.

Gives the agent a mouth through the ai-ball floating orb: speak text that the orb types out character by character, set its mood colour, show or hide its monologue panel, read back what you typed into it, and check or start it. The orb is a separate Python 3.10+ overlay you install yourself, and the plugin only writes the files it watches.

Source-install updater for DeepSeek Harness: checks the official GitHub release and the npm record, builds the target tag in an isolated directory, smoke-starts it, then switches through a supervisor process with rollback, with scheduled checks and a daily idle-only install window. Source install only (macOS/Linux); requires Node.js 22.19+, pnpm and Git.

Windows only; the upgrade path needs DSH_AUTO_UPDATE_LAUNCH_CMD configured. Checks, installs and rolls back DeepSeek Harness CLI updates from the web settings page, switching the launcher pointer only after the new version passes a config-tree check and a health-checked restart, and reverting automatically when it does not boot.

Adds a Quick Restart entry to the DSH Desktop account menu that quits and relaunches the app in one click. Windows desktop app only.

Settings page for agent modes (presets): switch up to 15 capabilities per mode (commands, files or read-only files, web, subagents, and more) or individual plugin rows; edit each mode's system prompt with variable checks, a full preview, version history, optional live updates for running sessions, and an approval-gated mode_prompt chat tool; create modes from four starter templates or copies; merge built-in updates after a dsh upgrade while keeping your changes, and turn off rows that fail to load.

MCP bridge that lets Codex start and resume DSH headless sessions through three tools: dsh_env, dsh_run and dsh_resume.

19 browser_* tools that let agents drive DeepSeek Harness's built-in sidebar browser over a loopback bridge: accessibility-tree reads with stable refs, real CDP clicks and keys, screenshots, network interception, device emulation, a cookie vault, document-start script injection, multiple browser instances, and raw CDP passthrough. One settings page for every MCP server on your machine. It reads the real config file of 17 other AI tools (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, OpenCode, Trae, Trae CN, Qoder, Gemini CLI, Qwen, Zed, Roo Code, Copilot CLI, Kiro, CodeBuddy, Continue) plus DeepSeek Harness itself, groups servers by the file that declares them, probes each one over JSON-RPC to see whether it starts and which tools it exposes, and gives every server a switch that mounts or unmounts it in DeepSeek Harness without editing the other tools' own files.

Let the agent restart its own DSH host: schedule a self-restart, finish the turn first, then a detached helper stops and relaunches the app and reports what happened. Dry-run, a status check, and an optional "when can I blink" confirmation are built in.

Adds a Continue button to resume tasks interrupted by a process exit or restart.
