Also fixes the 400/11128 channel check by neutralising the DSH identity sentences and scrubbing the product name from system messages, and reads the real Windows client and bundled CLI versions instead of a compiled constant, unlike the functy and community forks. Verified 2026-10-21 on Windows, WorkBuddy 5.8.3, DSH 0.2.1-rc.2.

Predicts your next message after each turn and shows it as gray ghost text in the composer: Tab takes the whole line, Alt+Right takes one word at a time, Enter takes it and sends, Esc dismisses, and Alt+R asks the model again without repeating the old one. Typing a few characters completes from prompts already sent in the session, Up in an empty composer recalls the last one, and a plugin-page form sets the provider, model, reasoning effort, per-key toggles and generation limits.

Select text in any Windows app to explain, summarize, translate, or read it aloud with DeepSeek Harness — answered in a streaming always-on-top overlay with a horizontal capsule menu.

Two-pane model picker that replaces the composer model menu with a searchable provider-grouped list on the left and a detail card on the right showing the selected model's context window, output cap, capability tags and reasoning-effort levels, all read from that model's own provider. The npm name dsh-model-picker belongs to another author; install through this GitHub source.

File search palette for the DSH workspace: find files by name or content, open results in DSH's native right-sidebar preview, and edit text files inline with version-conflict checks.

Watches a turn for long silences and, once the threshold passes, injects a user message asking the model to state in prose what it is doing before carrying on, so the turn keeps going. The same text is mirrored in a lower-left overlay above the composer. The silence threshold and the minimum gap between reports are set in minutes, the prompt can be replaced wholesale, and it runs with no runtime dependencies. Requires DSH 0.2.1+ and Node.js 18+.

One-click prompt refinement for the DSH composer: the ✦ button next to Send rewrites the draft into an agent-ready prompt in Standard or Light mode, with Revert and Retry; asks follow-up questions through the question card when the draft is missing information; checks that paths, identifiers, numbers, URLs, inline code and @mentions survive the rewrite and adds back any that were dropped; runs on the conversation model or a dedicated model chosen on the Plugins page.
