One-line clock context for DeepSeek Harness: a Current time timestamp reading (weekday, date, time, UTC offset, IANA timezone) opens every conversation turn and a Turn ended reading closes it, so the model always knows the time, date and idle gap across turns without asking.

Supervisor-style workflow orchestration over top-level sessions: confirmation-gated batch dispatch, team workstreams, steering running tasks, idle-wait collection and live model-route discovery across 11 task_* tools plus a /tasks slash command.

Local image, voice, music and SFX generation plus transcription, with pinned identity: characters, animals, objects and actor voices are defined once and reused on every later call, degenerate output (a near-flat image, silent audio) is rejected instead of returned as success, and a generated line can be read back as text so a clone that swallowed its ending becomes visible. The engines unload when idle, and image generation and transcription can each be pointed at an OpenAI-shaped API instead of the local Vulkan backend.

Full-type session lifecycle management: one-shot subagents archived on completion, idle continuable subagents / main sessions archived (recoverable), a capacity cap, projection-cache cleanup, and a hot-reload settings panel.

Screen-sense mode for the dsh-pet desktop pet: captures the primary display every 30 seconds, compares an 8x8 average hash of each frame, and sends the screenshot to the session model when the frame changed (and again after the idle interval even if unchanged) so the pet comments in one short bubble line. Adds /fish, /fish_look and /fish_screen commands, a status and control HTTP pair, and a change threshold plus an idle repeat interval that can be tuned in the plugin config. Windows only (PowerShell WinForms).

An Astra Yao desktop pet for the DeepSeek Harness web GUI that renders the Codex v2 8x11 sprite atlas, follows session state through thinking, running, waiting and failed, shows a status bubble with the running tool and a DeepSeek balance readout (on by default, can be switched off), and quotes her own voice lines while idle.

Use DSH from a phone browser. Turn on phone access from the phone button in the session header (or the plugin card) and scan the QR code; the phone opens the official DSH web UI served by the desktop process, with the same sessions updating live, so you can follow a running task, reply and approve away from the computer. A gateway inside DSH (port 18765) proxies the web UI and handles the desktop login itself. One QR code works on Wi-Fi and on mobile data: turning access on also starts a free Cloudflare quick tunnel (cloudflared is downloaded from Cloudflare's GitHub releases if missing), and its address survives DSH restarts, so phones do not need to rescan. Pairing codes are one-time and expire in 10 minutes, each phone gets its own revocable credential, the header button shows when a phone is connected, and idle connections get keepalive pings.

Billing-period and balance pill under the DSH composer: it shows the account balance and the current conversation cost alongside the peak/off-peak state and a countdown to the next switch. The peak/off-peak rules cover China statutory holidays and weekends, and the conversation cost is measured as the decrease in account balance between the plugin's 60-second idle balance refreshes.

Comet-mode animated caret for the DSH Web composer: a glowing trail glides to the text position, with configurable accent color, thickness, trail, and a 500 ms idle blink. Extends the surface to ask-question card inputs, and fixes the caret vanishing on an empty composer or first focus, forward drag-selection not following the pointer, soft line breaks measuring against the previous line, and the caret painting outside the composer when long input scrolls. Maintained fork of Lacquervii/smooth-cursor.

Compaction fallback for compaction-basic: when its LLM summary throws, comes back empty or cannot fit the window, the span is compiled deterministically with a seq pointer on every line (vendored dsh-compaction-instant compiler). Adds recall and search tools, /recall and /context commands, an idle trigger at 45% of the window and an on-disk span archive. The engine mounts as one row in the agent preset (docs/dsh-integration.md).

Turns the MacBook keyboard Caps Lock light into an agent status light: on while the agent works, flashing when it waits for your approval or answer, off when idle.

Browser system notification, sounded by the OS notification itself, when a session needs a reply or a run goes idle; no page-focus check, at most one notification per session with a newer one replacing the old, and an idle notice reports how many background tasks are still running.

Source-install updater for DeepSeek Harness: checks the official GitHub release and the npm record, builds the target tag in an isolated directory, smoke-starts it, then switches through a supervisor process with rollback, with scheduled checks and a daily idle-only install window. Source install only (macOS/Linux); requires Node.js 22.19+, pnpm and Git.

Keeps a DeepSeek Harness run going on its own: continues a turn that ended abnormally, and continues a turn logged as completed while the model tool call was emitted as plain text instead, which leaves the agent silently idle. Revives a model request that stops streaming. A wait on an approval or on a question is logged and notified, never answered.

MCP gateway for dsh that connects each server on first use and disconnects it after an idle window; tool lists are cached on disk, existing mcpServers files can be imported, and child-process environment variables are scrubbed.
